You know that at the true essence of giving someone a gift, it really is about them and the benefit and joy it brings them. It should by far outweigh the recognition you, the giver receive from them – and although it’s nice, have you ever given someone a gift without any attachment to them fawning their praises on you? It can be a liberating experience – and of course it can get you really present (no pun intended) to the true spirit at this time of year.
I have for you a very simple and wonderful (and free idea) that you can give to many people in your life – it’s up to you how many people you do this for or who you do it for – and of course you can do it for yourself too…
If you can visualise your recipient asleep – I like to do this when I know they will be asleep – and get very still and imagine that there is pale pink sparkly dust coming from the space above them and settling on them while they sleep.
This is another version of sending someone “white light” – however in this instance you are sending them love – unconditional love – a gentle, compassionate love that not only is coming from you but one that will settle onto their skin – soak into their hearts – and allow them the gift of self love.
You can do this anytime – for as long as you like – on any day – it doesn’t have to be Christmas. I like to do this if I wake super early one morning and have trouble going back to sleep – I’ll send a friend some pink sparkly love. There is not a woman on this earth who doesn’t need a little extra self love – I believe we all need a refill – and often long before we realise it – imagine if you could help fill someone else’s self love tank while they sleep, or just go about their everyday life.
