I had a recent discussion with a friend where I admitted to feeling “compelled” to create. Like all good nuggets of soul wisdom, this word fell out of my mouth and gave me a little jolt of surprise. COMPELLED – I am acting on a COMPULSION. And thanks to The Free Online Dictionary – this is defined simply as
An irresistible impulse to act, regardless of the rationality of the motivation.
In my new found appreciation for listening to my soul and “going with the flow”, this compulsion doesn’t feel scary, or out of control, or even coerced. It feels right and when I go with it – the results always exceed my expectations.
Now that I have “tapped in” to my intuition and I am allowing the universe to flow through me, I can see that my creations are my soul’s message, and the pipeline is overflowing with ideas, information and a deep knowing. When I turn it off, the flow builds up and there is an urgency – always there – to get back to it.
And in the wonderful way the Universe works, my soul’s message is just as significant and relevant to me as it is to everyone else who desires to listen. And what then is this message? It’s not new to me – nor probably to you…but what is new is how I am bringing it into being – how I am using my skills and my story to bring this message into the light – into a space that may allow you to see it, and understand it and know it deep on the level of your soul.
Every crystal talisman that I create goes out with the message
“You already have everything you need inside you and this talisman will help you remember.”
Every crystal is selected with the intention of awakening within you something that you yearn for, something you feel is missing. Something that with trust, love and intention, you will uncover as being there all along. Nothing is lost, nothing is missing, nothing is out of your reach. When you arrived on this earth as a child, your soul was light, free and full. Over time you learnt to hide it away, no longer trust it, contort it to fit into the expectations of others, strive to act in the opposite way it would. My message is to remind you (and me) that it is not lost.
A simple message but such a potent one if only you trust and believe. And the first step begins – with your hand on your heart saying…
